Looking for a certain size?
Brands such as Louis Vuitton and Goyard use French abbreviations to indicate the sizes of their handbags. Ooh la la!
PM – Stands for Petite Modele, which is French for “small model”, and means that the bag is the smaller size in the range.
MM – Stands for Moyen Modele, which is French for “medium model”, and means that the bag is the medium size in the range.
GM – Stands for Grande Modele, which is French for “large model”, and means that the bag is the larger size in the range.
Sizing Terminology:
Length: The length is measured from the base, and across the front of a bag.
Width: The depth of the handbag which is measured from the side of the bag.
